Welcome to Catnip Camera!
A quick introduction: my name is Barbarella and as the name of this website implies, it is (mostly) about Cat Photography.
It all started with shooting lots of cat photos of my beautiful, photogenic tabby twins Spider and Lugosi, but I am now well known to walk around the area armed with my camera luring unsuspecting moggies out of the bushes and getting them to pose for me. Living on the sunny island of Lanzarote I have a seemingly endless supply of domesticated and feral cat "models"!
Apart from cats, I like capturing landscapes, nature/plants, events and close-up objects that are pretty or breathtaking enough to catch my eye. These can also be found in the Photo Gallery.
I also provide Web Design and Graphic Design, so whether you need a website, posters, business cards or other graphics, I can create something original or re-design and freshen up your old website or logo. Simply visit canariaspace.com.

Please support a Cat Charity currently being set up in Lanzarote - their new website 9 Lives Lanzarote is now live - this charity will catch and then spay and neuter feral cats, generally look after them, and set up "Cat Cafés" in tourist complexes - similar to what The Twinkle Trust are doing to help cats over on our neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. The lady setting this up is called Bernie who also runs the Purrfect Vacations Cattery in Guïme.
